Remember last year I had a pair of twins for tuition? This year, I'm tutoring their little sister.
Reached their house early in the morning, followed the usual stuff of "what do you want to do today?" ... and then proceed to teach her whatever she needs to know ... and ALOT more. I began talking abt transition metals, colours... blah blah blah... stuff I didn't know and didn't bother to ask when I was her age. Everything to me then... was jus.. Oh it's just like that.. Oh it's nature~ Wonders of nature.
Anyway, after tuition, guess what her mum gave me?!
BAK GUA and pineapple tarts!!!!
And it's not just a few miserable pieces (I'll be happy and not so paiseh if it's just a few pieces loh!). It's like... ONE WHOLE BOX of bak gua and ONE whole tin of pineapple tart. Shucks.. I'm beginning to feel so paiseh!
